History
1905		Founding year of Bourquin SA (based in Couvet, NE)
twenties		Establishment of a branch in Zurich
sixties		Conversion into a collective company - Armand Bourquin & Cie
eighties		Beginning of construction of company building in Oensingen (completion in 1989) Acquisition of the company Brieger Packaging AG
1995		Closure of the Zurich factory; the former production halls become storage space for the company Brieger Packaging Co-foundation of the European network for quality corrugated board packaging solutions - Alliabox SAS
1997		Change of the company name to "Bourquin SA"
2000		In a management buy-out, Guido Bardelli acquired 100% of the shares of the Bourquin family Merger of Brieger Packaging AG and Bourquin SA (based in Couvet, NE)
2005		The new administrative office in Oensingen, the "Collaboratorium", is moved into, which coincides with the 100th anniversary of the company
2006		Time of beginning of operation at the new manufacturing hall in Couvet (improvement of goods flows) Purchase of the company Weber Druck + Kartonage AG in Menziken - now Weber Verpackungen (in order to further supplement product range and create synergies)
2007		Construction and completion of the high bay warehouse in Oensingen (Brieger Packaging and Bourquin SA)
2008		Purchase of the company Frey Verpackungen, now "creaverpackungen GmbH" in Mindelheim, Germany (in order to further supplement product range)

The latest production and development facilities
With its production capacity of over 40'000 tons or 80 million square meters of corrugated board a year, Bourquin SA is now one of the most productive manufacturers and processors of corrugated board in Switzerland.
The core of our company is the corrugated board manufacturing facility (a state of the art computer-controlled production plant).
In our production and confection centres in Oensingen, Couvet, Zurich, Menziken and Mindelheim we have a full range of finishing equipment at our disposal.
Regular investments in modernisation and expansion mean that our efficiency and high quality are always guaranteed.
